Founded in 1991, the company quickly became known for its high quality, innovative product and has been building on that reputation ever since. Since April 2007 The Five Mile Press has been wholly owned by Bonnier Publishing UK which is part of the Swedish media giant Bonnier AB.
We currently publish books in over 27 foreign languages supplied to over 30 different language markets. In addition to this, when world rights to a title are licensed for a particular language, another 20 or so countries are added to our distribution list.
In keeping with our rapid growth and in response to the changing publishing climate, The Five Mile Press made the decision to start our own trade distribution in August 2011. In addition to our own extensive list of titles, we also represent the diverse publishing lists from Slattery Media, Weldon Owen and Hot Key Books.
